I am giving this motel a 5 star rating based on what it is-- a low(er) budget hotel. They have recently started remodeling the rooms and getting rid of the carpet. Strict rules are enforced that prohibits guests from hanging around outside in groups, so other guests won't bother anyone. The staff is terrific! Great people. Very personable and helpful. They go above and beyond to accommodate everyone. I can't emphasis enough how nice and gracious they are.
I just love the gateway hotel. It’s the closest thing a Home and the most safest place I can be it is home to me. The family is like my own very caring and considerate. The rooms are lovely and the service is excellent. I would recommend this to any family coming from out of town. Looking for a great location to get to the city and a nice place to stay safe, comfortable clean and put a smile on your face every day you see you there take my advice from the gateway hotel.
They care a lot about this place, they live onsite and maintenance it very well. I lived there for about 6 months and never seen a roach or bedbug. If you’re seeing bed bugs, you probably brought them in. Great place! Safer than Budget Host on Central and nice owners.
I love this place and the,staff. After,being,on the road for three and four months at a time. It feels good to come back into town and see that they remember you and treat you with such kindness. The rooms are very affordable and well kept. You can tell they care not only about there busniess, but you as well. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS. SEE YOU IN ABOUT 4 MONTHS.

I stayed almost a couple of weeks, the room great for the price, staff there were always smiling and very polite. The Wi-Fi works without a hitch and the HBO channels provided my TV fix. I had no problems and will stay here again if ever needed, highly recommend.
Me and my boyfriend stayed for almost 2 months and it was wonderful the owners was so nice and friendly the room was fine we had no issues when we was there and we will definitely go back if we needed to #gateway
Service is very polite. And it is exactly what you expect. It's not the Hilton but you are in a clean, bug free, spot for the night without spending a fortune. So seeing you save on the room. You can spend but out and enjoying Cincinnati
